Executive Action?

Each issue of NJCU Magazine will test your knowledge with a question or brainteaser from an NJCU faculty member. NJCU alumni and friends who answer the question correctly will be entered into a drawing to win an NJCU t-shirt!

In the poem below, each line, except for those indented, is an anagram of a U.S. President鈥檚 name. Sometimes it鈥檚 the full name (First, Middle, Last), sometimes it鈥檚 first, last, and middle initial, and sometimes it鈥檚 just first and last name, depending on how the president is usually referenced.

Gathering egos own, 
revolted heroes, too, 
   but 
ah, martyrs run 
   and 
jeer amid flags 
flown. 鈥淔inancier Slime!鈥 Jolt, 
scare her. Truth! 
Infernal picker 
renames mojo 
bugger! Whose

Dr. Fran Moran, a Professor of Political Science, has been teaching courses in American Politics and Political Theory for nearly 20 years. His research has appeared in a variety of academic journals and has been presented at regional, national, and international meetings.
